Lifetechverse Technologies Pty Limited, ABN 62 670 630 645 (we, us or our) is committed to safeguarding the privacy of individuals. This Privacy Policy sets out how we manage Personal Information. Capitalised terms not defined in this Privacy Policy are defined in the LIFETECHVERSE Platform and Services Agreement Terms.
What Personal Information do we handle?
We handle Personal Information that we collect in the course of running the LIFETECHVERSE Platform and Services as detailed in section 2.
We also store Personal Information our Clients share or authorise for use with the LIFETECHVERSE Platform and Services as detailed in section 3.
Importantly, we do not control or otherwise determine the privacy practices of any Client. To find out about their privacy practices you should check their websites for their privacy policy, or otherwise ask them about their privacy practices.
If a person does not provide us with the information we request, we may be unable to fulfill the relevant purpose of collection or fulfil a request.
Personal Information we collect in running the LIVETECHVERSE Platform and Services
The main types of Personal Information we collect and hold are:
contact and identification information for Clients (or the individual responsible for the Client Account) such as name, date of birth, contact number(s), email address(es), residential and/or business address(es), demographic information (such as postcode, age, gender), where applicable director identification number, driver's licence, passport or other identity verification details;
name, mobile number, email address and account security verification details for individuals the Client allows to be registered as Users for the Client Account;
location data (such as data derived from your IP address);
contact details for individuals working for our business partners and suppliers;
information provided by an individual as part of a recruitment process such as name, contact details, prior employment history, qualifications, referee details and, if applicable, details for background checks; and other information provided by individuals while interacting with us.
We collect Personal Information in the course of running our business in a range of different ways, typically through:
operation of the LIFETECHVERSE Platform and Services;
our interactions with individuals (e.g. through any records we keep of telephone calls, or emails received, or messages sent to us or posted on our pages on social media);
use of social media;
employment applications;
third party service providers; and
provision of service and support.
Where practicable, we collect Personal Information in connection with running our business directly from the individual concerned. On occasion, we may collect Personal Information from someone else such as when we speak to a referee for a job applicant or do screening for onboarding a new supplier or customer.
Personal Information handled through running the LIVETECHVERSE Platform and Services
The LIFETECHVERSE Platform and Services enable a Client to set up a Client Account to store, maintain and use details about a Nominated Entity, including individuals associated with the Nominated Entity such as directors and shareholders as well as professional advisers and individuals the Client allows to be registered as Users for the Client Account.
Each Client is responsible for the Personal Information they elect to collect and store for their Client Account and for the content of all communications made by or on behalf of the Client using the LIFETECHVERSE Platform and Services. We do not control the Client's information handling practices.
Use and disclosure of Personal Information
We store Personal Information primarily in electronic form.
We use and disclose Personal Information as follows:
Provide the LIFETECHVERSE Platform and Services including verifying the identity of individuals submitting an application for registration of a Client;
if applicable, conduct anti-money laundering or other checks required by law;
to manage arrangements with Clients and prospective Clients;
enable use by or on behalf of the Client of their Client Accounts with the LIFETECHVERSE Platform and Services;
to obtain products, services or information from our suppliers;
to operate and manage our website, social media and other communications and media channels;
subject to applicable laws, to conduct marketing;
for processing and assessing employment applications; and
for such other purposes authorised or required by law.
It may be necessary to share Personal Information with organisations that provide products or services to us. For example, we may use third party service providers to provide more integrated offerings on the LIFETECHVERSE Platform and Services, for the organisation of Client care, implementation of promotions, development of offers, communication and contact with Clients, organization of events and purpose of us obtaining advice and managing our affairs. We also use third party service providers for credit card processing/payment and for IT services (hosting services, database maintenance, etc.).
Cookies
We use cookies on the LIFETECHVERSE Platform and Services. Cookies are small text files that are stored by the website user's browser when they visit a website or use an app. This identifies the browser used and can be recognised by our web server. We may use cookies to associate a user with social media platforms and, if the user so chooses, enable interaction between the user's activities on our platforms and those social media platforms. The LIFETECHVERSE Platform and Services also uses cookies to analyse traffic and help us provide a better experience. You can make certain choices about the use of cookies through your browser settings. However, if you disables certain cookies, this may prevent the you from taking full advantage of the LIFETECHVERSE Platform and Services.
Links to other websites
The LIFETECHVERSE Platform and Services may contain links to third party websites. We do not control or otherwise determine the privacy practices of these third party sites. To find out about their privacy practices you should check their websites for their privacy policy, or otherwise ask them about their privacy practices.
In particular, in the Wealth Marketplace part of the Platform, Benefits (e.g., hotel and restaurant discounts) may be offered to Members. When a Member elects to redeem a Benefit in the Wealth Marketplace, the Member will typically be redirected to the website of the business providing the Benefit to claim and book the Benefit. This is a third party site.
Marketing
If you have received a direct marketing communication from us and do not wish to receive these communications from us in the future, just use the “unsubscribe” function in the email or SMS, or tick the opt out box on postal communications and return the mailed item to us.
Overseas transfers
The LIFETECHVERSE Platform and Services are hosted in Australia. On occasion, a third party service provider we engage or that we are instructed to provide information to may be outside of Australia however, the location of the third party would depend on the specific situation.
Access and correction
An individual may request access to or correction of any of the Personal Information we hold about them by contacting us on 02 72422167 during business hours in Sydney or by emailing privacy@lifetechverse.com.
We may require an individual making a request to verify their identity before we can process their request.
We will aim to respond to all requests promptly and within 30 days.
We may refuse a request where permitted or required by law. We will comply with any regulatory requirement to give reasons for our decision.

We may require an individual making a request to verify their identity before we can process their request.
Please provide sufficient details so that we can understand the nature of your concern. In most cases we will ask that you put your request in writing to us.
We take all complaints seriously and will use reasonable endeavours to investigate and respond on a complaint in writing within 30 days of receiving the written complaint. If you remain unsatisfied by our response to your complaint, you may be entitled to refer your complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes to Privacy Policy
We may make changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the revised policy on the LIFETECHVERSE Platform. Please check back from time to time to review our Privacy Policy.
